Baru je balik dr attend seminar on Cervical cancer..Even hana tak registered pun as a participant..ahaks..tapi dah buat dekat faculty sendiri harulah pandai2 carik peluang..haha..

eyh2..terlupa plak nak cakap sesuatu yang penting..haha..ini mmg tak sangka sangat2..hana dah mempunyai 100 followers utk blog ini..yeay..clap..clap..hehe..seronok giller..tak sangka pun akan ada org nak follow blog saya yg biasa2 ni..=) hehe..actually hana berhajat ler nak bagi sumthing for the follower..n hana nak pick pengikut yang ke-123 utk mendapat 'sesuatu' itu..hihi..cewahh..berhajat tu..InsyaAllah k? tapi ianya hanya lah benda yg biasa2 sahaja okies?

ok ok..back to the main thing! do u all know what is cervical cancer is all about?? alright, let me give the definition ok? its basically the cancer that occurs when cell of the cervix become abnormal and grow out of control. n the key facts about this cancer are it was the 2nd most common cancer that affect Malaysian women, after breast cancer and virtually, every women is at risk of cervical cancer, regardless of their age or lifestyle.

Actually this cancer take many years to be develop. So, masa seminar tadi panelist ada cerita mengenai HPV which is the abbreviation for Human Papilloma Virus. This HPV is so much related to cervical cancer. this is because infection by HPV is necessary for the development of cervical cancer. selalunya infection ini adalah asymtomatic (tak mempunyai simptom) and majority will resolve without any treatment. But, in some cases, the infection can persist and this will lead to the progression to cervical cancer. this process can take more than 10 years. so, bear in mind..mungkin sekarang kita masih lagi diberikan kesihatan yg baik..but, later in life we wouldn't know..right?

B2B out there, actually benda ni sgt penting utk kita tahu..coz this HPV is usually transmitted through genital skin to skin contact. And..it is estimated that 4 out of 5 sexually active women will have an HPV infection during their lifetime, even if they've only had ONE or TWO sexual partners!! uwwaaa....this fact actually scares me..huhu..

so, apekah penyelesaiannye? sekarang ni dah ada vaccine..pernah kan tgk iklan vaccine cervical cancer tu? kalau pernah bagus..kalau tak pernah bukak mata luas2 masa tgk iklan..hehe..basically, they have 2 vaccines in the market.
1) GARDASIL
2) CERVARIX
so, as a prevention utk bakal2 pengantin..mungkin boleh ambil vaccination ini coz once u became a bride definitely u'll have sexual intercourse (SI)..kan??

and ada 1 fact yang menarik dari panel tadi..hehe..if we delay the onset of having SI, the risk of getting HPV will be lower..so, kalo kawen awal2 akan meningkatkan risiko lah plak..huhu..jadik, ape2 pun do ask certified physicians regarding this matter ok? and jangan lupe buat pap smear selepas kawen..(ini peringatan utk diri sendiri jugak)hehe..
