Honeymoon in the City

We checked in Shangri La, KL 25 – 26 dec 2010 for our mini honeymoon.

Rumah di KL, kerja pun kat tengah-tengah KL, so why la pilih KL kan for honeymoon kan?

Ooooh..tapi itu la sebab nya..supaya tak sibuk nak keluar tengok apa ada kat luar. KLCC? Breakfast, lunch and after work arrangement selalu sangat dah kat situ. Pavillion? Weekend hangout, suka food court Pavillion. Mid Valley? Our fav place to eat Carl’s Jr and tengok movie. The Garden’s? before pergi Mid Valley, suka window shopping at their boutiques.

(why to-do-lists banyak shopping centre je..?)

So, kira boleh enjoy the room la..bila bayar bilik hotel sendiri ni, rasa nak gunakan sepenuhnya semua kemudahan yang ada. Plus save on travelling time la..then bila travel, penat la pula.

Harga pun tak mahal la..less than rm500 (weekend rewards rate ), normal price rm700++

and considering 5 star hotel, tengah-tengah KL dan di hujung minggu plus these complimentaries

  • Free internet connection in room. Ok, sound lame tapi…banyak je hotel kat KL ni tak include kan free internet tau
  • Free Parking. Again, sound lame again tapi…I know a hotel yang charge in house customer untuk parking. Sangat annoying!

Yang bestnya adalah these two complimentaries

  • Complimentary buffet breakfast for two at Lemon Garden Café – OMG..the breakfast is one of the best and I’ve tasted all hotel within 5km radius of KLCC.

Yes, bila tengok all these food..i’m thinking “thank god for PB”

And it’ll cost walk in customers this much for the buffet breakfast..!!

  • Complimentary late check out at 4pm – lepas breakfast masih sempat enjoy the  room :P

(Yes, masa ini pun berfikir “nasib baik ada PB, ada lagi stamina..” :P)

Upon arrival, dapat pink roses and di-upgrade-kan dari deluxe room ke executive suite..yeay~

(tips: during booking, write down your special event. In my case, it was for our wedding anniversary)

The service e.g. receptionist, door bell, concierge etc memang 5 star. At first nak makan kat Arthur’s Grill tapi the concierge informed that their menu will be Christmas menu. So our other option was Victoria’s Station. The concierge voluntarily made the booking for us. Luckily he did, because VS was so full that night.

All in all, for quick weekend getaway or mini honeymoon, no need to travel far. Instead of bayar transportation fees, boleh book a nice hotel nearby and enjoy their facilities…:)

Thank you to my hubby for all the pampering
